In the last several months I've used a number of self-help techniques who have been great but it was your upset thoughts inside my head I actually desperately needed to reduce before I did something silly.
I started looking for books on changing thought patterns and when I actually browse the blurb for this book and some of the reviews it convinced me to give it a go. That was 6 weeks ago and by adopting some of the techniques in this book I possess utterly transformed my life.
I had developed no idea how much I mentally or verbally beat myself upwards all the time. This guide has opened up a world of possibilities for me. Every day, almost all of the day I either speak with myself out noisy, in my head or on tape and everything I actually say are positive things. Over and over I actually repeat positive things. At first I was yelling at myself to just drown out the negative feelings bouncing back but over the weeks I possess become considerably quieter.
I'm now blown away by the amount of negative people there have been in this world. I hear frequent negative things from people and I never heard some of this before. In fact, I believe I actually was one of the worst culprits for negative self talk. Suddenly people are smiling at me and seeking out my company, the most incredibly lucky things are taking place to me and things that I couldn't do because I wasn't capable before are suddenly a piece of cake.
I don't really know how it has happened but six months time after my husband walked out, I now feel happier than I actually ever have before. I actually feel so completely in charge of my life and my thoughts. I can't hold out to start resulting in the story of my future.
This guide is not the most well written book and there are a lot of things repeated, but if you think about what is being said, you'll understand that that repetition is made not only to get the messages into the head but also to build a complete picture of what you need to do.
